My Lauren folio box is here! This beautiful hand crafted box is the end result of my global search for something elegant and modern, and that would make a statement when displayed openly on a shelf or coffee table. There are a lot of beautiful products out there, the options almost endless. But as I searched, I thought of the wonderful artisans and craftsmen that have crossed my path over the years right here at home, jewelry and candle makers, iron forgers, printers and the one-man-show that renovated my home. I narrowed my options to local businesses and decided make this my business model, like a farm-to-table restaurant.
The Lauren Folio holds up to 18 matted images and is covered in the most supple vegan leather I ever felt. I know you're are gonna love it too. I named it Lauren, after Lauren Bacall. Despite popular opinion back her day, Lauren Bacall wore trousers regularly. When pants began to be designed for women in 1939, Vogue magazine said this about that, "We deplore the crop of young women who take war as an excuse for.. parading about in slacks. " Well, Vogue, I love my trousers. It's a good thing for trail blazing women.
